Aya couldn't help flinching away when the man rushed to her side to lead her to a chair. He was tall, unnaturally handsome, practically dripping with concern… for a moment she saw Sebastian's face on this new stranger's body and she felt her heart jump into her throat, if only for a moment. He even looked to be about the same age. But… it was probably nothing, she told herself. Los Angeles was full of tall, handsome men, and so far she'd only met one homicidal maniac. It wouldn't do to let one bad apple taint the lot. Good lord, she was tired. Raising a hand to accept the offered water, she let out a soft thanks and drank until the bottle was empty. "Aya," she finally said. "My name is Aya. I was coming home from work, when…" She trailed off and saw the day's events play out in her mind: watching Sebastian massacre a family, following him, the torture. Without realizing what she was doing, Aya shook her head against the memories, squeezing her eyes shut. She raised both of her hands and pressed the heels of her palms into her eyes. "He… there's a man. His name is Sebastian Lyone. He was…" Aya lowered her hands and sighed as she tried to order her thoughts around and remember what she needed to through her haze. "I don't know, the Underground movement had him locked up or something, but now he's out and working for them. Today he made a deal with Isabella and that doctor with the dragons and that little French girl…" Had she ever gotten their names? Aya couldn't remember, but she hoped it all meant something to Max. "He's supposed to attack Reformists until after Eden's born. "He's dangerous… murderous." She looked down at her right hand and looked at the marks he had left – the scabbed-over wound in her palm where he'd poisoned her and the angry purple bruise fully formed on her wrist where he'd used blood to hold her up. "He can control blood and make it do anything he wants – even turn it to acid and burn you away from the inside out." She looked back up at Max. "I'm sorry, this probably isn't much. I just… thought I should warn you." [@Gentlemanvaultboy]
Wait, this girl had watched this mystery man make a deal with Lancaster? Where exactly had she seen that fro- Holy Christ her hand! What the hell, how the hell couldn't he have seen that before? This whole war deal had him completely out of whack. He knew that part of their procedure was hunting down criminals, but fighting a meta war wasn't what he'd singed on for. He kept that concern out of his voice, though. No need to burden her with it. "Trust me Aya, it's actually a lot. Our boss had to send in a team without any information today and, well, you can see the result of that on the news. Just knowing that this guy's out there helps us. But that isn't important right now, do you think you can walk? I want to take you to medical before they start carting everybody back here, have them take a look at your injuries. Can you come with me?" Provided she accented, Max lead her to the medical facilities.
