Thomas was understandably a bit put off by the pig nuzzling against his leg, that a bit unusual even for their journey and he shied away with his upper torso even if he couldn't with his leg. He was just as surprised when his keylade appeared unbidden, dipping down as if by its own accord to touch the upraised snout of Hen Wen. The contact precipitated something, and a light ascended from where blade had met skin, to form into a Sign of the Zodiac, something very surprising to see. also incredibly lucky considering they hadn't been looking for one, but he would accept the gift nonetheless, opening his hand to let it gently land there, looking it over before putting it away in his pack. "thanks, but I need to get going and find my companions, wherever they are," Thomas replied to Taran's offer, his mind already working on what might have happened and where they could have gotten off to. It took up his time as Jake went around to say his own goodbyes before returning to him, and Thomas shook the proffered hand almost absentmindedly. "I'm sure you could have managed without me, but you're welcome." He gave Jake a skeptical look. "No, he didn't. They must have left the world, since I guess I can safely assume that Reno broke out of this jail once already." He frowned as he realized that they were back to doing a needle in a haystack, and this time they didn't even have the benefit of Reno flying ion a straight line. He sighed as he came to an inescapable conclusion, and one that he didn't enjoy in the slightest. He could already imagine the reaction of the others when he showed up in Twilight Town without Reno, and having lost Belle as well. Some fine mess he had made of this. He doubted any of them would take him seriously afterwards. He materialized his Glider before looking over at Jake. "I'm going to Twilight Town to meet with some friends who can help look for Reno and Belle. You need a lift, or do you have your own glider?" Once Jake had answered and gotten ready, Thomas took off, avoiding collisions as he exited and then flew off towards his destination, to meet his foreboding fate.
