Big difference is that Sasuke was always kind of a douche, but became progressively more douchy and his douchyness was part of why people liked him. I never really liked him, though. Not since he left Konoha.
Sakura had always been (relatively) nice, so pulling such a bitch move was just sort of ... yeah, bitchy. I guess the reason that I can "forgive" Sasuke his douchyness, but not Sakura's bitchyness was due to the fact that I actually kinda though Sakura was sort of cool, whereas I always disliked Sasuke.
