BTW: There was a tiny, 2-second note that [i]both[/i] the protagonists [Brothers] in Red Dawn [1989] were Eagle-Scouts, and the first 10 minutes were there to illustrate they were both highly-competitive about it (hence how they knew how to use.. just about every gun from their father's store, camping, and horseback-riding...).
