Sky looked up to the teacher slowly. Her hazel eyes glancing the teacher over once before she laid her hand on her palm and her elbow on her desk. She hadn't been getting much sleep between adapting to her life and her new found gift. Soon Sly found herself fighting to keep her eyelids open. She went to sleep, her head in her hand and her eyes facing the windows. The dreams started- the horrible dreams of her parents death. They had been haunting her, but they seemed to only get worse as her powers appeared. Outside of the windows, while Sky was lost in the emotional nightmares- the rain began to fall in unbelievable amounts. In mere minutes everything would be soggy and flooded. She cringed in her dreams and mumbled softly to herself- lost in her dreams. The thought of her parents' death was replaced by her new foster parents- their demanding and controlling nature. It made Sly angry- lightning cracked and thunder roared- waking Sky up suddenly. She looked around the room- hoping no one noticed it was her and just thought it was some weird storm passing through. Sky's baby blue eyes glowed a pale yellow for a moment as the storms stopped, the clouds parted and disappeared, and the sun began to shine once again. Sky hated that her powers worked off her emotions- especially since she had always been unable to control her emotions. It made her feel weak against her own powers. She turned her eyes to look down at her book silently.
