Hikaru can have some resistance to explosions in general because of his AIM field, but shouldn't be immune to his own explosions. Otherwise he should just be immune to all explosions and that won't work. Think of this as a limitation Hikaru needs to work around and be conscious of when he attempts to deploy explosions in point blank range. At the very least as a level 3 him being able to cause life threatening explosions isn't possible yet. Note that Hikaru can learn to use his ability like an [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Range_Acoustic_Device]LRAD[/url] in that his explosions become directional. In fact, I encourage you to put something like this as his special skill since Hikaru doesn't have one yet.
