It was very hard for Aria to not panic at the charming boy. Were her emotions really so bare on her face? "Oh, n-no, I-I'm f-f-fine..." she stammered out. "I-I'm fine, r-really." She blushed and looked down. "As far as t-t-talking about... all this... C-can it wait, just for a bit? U-until I-i g-get my own m-mind around it?" Biting her lip, wishing the boy would just quit looking at her like that. He's bad for you, Aria, bad bad bad bad for you, he's scary and he made you cry and you don't want to spend time with him. On and on until her thoughts reassembled in their natural order. She fliched at Chloe's comment. "But... That man. He just felt... wrong... He'll find us again. Don't go back on your own. Please, don't." Aura looked at the older girl. "Please don't. Stay with us. And please quit exhaling so much chlorine, or between the three of us we're going to kill everyone in this building." She was sweating helium, her voice having gone all squeaky, and Aria's too. Between shielding Aria's hands (lest she light the entire place on fire) and her natural nervousness, the whole cellar was pretty much full of helium. Turning to Jaden, anger in her bright blue eyes, she said softly, "We're not done with this conversation. You and I are going to have to... iron out our differences at some point." She flashed a razor blade of a smile, her arms going protectively around Aria again.
