Things appear to be getting ugly. I'll write up my assault post here in a bit, wrap things up with this firefight, then start trying to put together a plan in my brain housing group that'll help them survive the inevitable contact with Hero Company (not that our boys know they exist yet; it'll just be for my personal use once they become active in the story.)
