Ah things I would like to point out. Noble phantasms do consume mana. Nidhogg using one of such power and scale WILL drain his reserves. If he was a phantasmal species he would have EX ranked mana to balance this out, but I'm not sure we can classify Nidhogg as one. Medusa is classified as a demon, and so would Nidhogg considering how similar they are. The 666 Beast is also classified as a demon. Unfortunately, demons outside of True Demons lack the same stat capacity as phantasmal species do. However, Raijin has given Nidhogg prana burst(?) which is unique to phantasmal beasts, so I am thinking he has Nidhogg pinned as a phantasmal beast(???).

Also, being summoned in the Holy Grail War does limit heroes in stats. There is a limit to what the grail can summon, hence why Heracles doesnt move mountains and gouge out chasms with each and every attack. Hence why Karna doesn't punch people with enough force to "shake the entire universe"(Yes, this is what happened in the Mahabarata).

He's the Devourer of the Damned and the forebringer of the motha-fucking norse apocalypse, you better believe I made him a powerful son of a bitch. Another thing that's funny is that Caster and Beast are complete opposites in every sense of the word, and if Caster tries to reign in Nidhogg, he's going to be on Nidhogg's shit list. You really don't want to be on the list, nothing good will come of it.

I'm actually gonna say Huangdi matches Nidhogg here and probably beats him if the fight is in Huangdi's territory. I don't know what I'm going for in terms of personality restriction ( the guy is a benevolent ruler type), but it seems like Huangdi is medea tier which is really really good as a mage. His Gaia connection let's him spam phantasmal beasts like a dragon as much as he wants of course with the problem of him only being able to have one phantasmal beast.

On a side note, Eastern Dragons are capable of destroying the entire world in a rampage, but thankfully the grail can't summon them.

You underestimate what a Gaia connection does. Its literally a hotline to Gaia itself like that which nature spirits possess. Gaia essentially gives you just enough power to outmatch your opponent as well as effectively constantly replenishing magical energy. It's an extremely powerful skill to have(you should list this as a skill and not a noble phantasm btw).

Nidhogg battling Huangdi while Thomas is battling Yandere Clock's mage, if my assessment is on the money:

Thomas has to do nothing (thus using no mana), Nidhogg gets free mana from the reanimated dead Yandere's mage uses.

Yay.

Fun times.

Therefore, as long as Nidhogg can even keep Huangdi busy, Thomas can unleash whatever spells he has charged against Huangdi's master, while his magic is being depleted in useless activity.

Prana burst was suggested to me by someone else in the RP I originally made him for, on account of him being a dragon, and I think that he would technically count as a Divine Beast, plausibly, but he does have a down-grade, His more powerful curses will not be used very often, if at all, and it's why Nidhogg is best with a master that doesn't care for his eating of regular people. The amount of Prana that Thomas would have to give Beast in order to sustain his abilities would be quite a bit other wise, but as is, Nidhogg fuels the roots with those he kills. An that will be his main way of fighting, besides his claws and use of prana burst.

Yes if he is a dragon then he is a phantasmal beasts, and phantasmal beasts have prana burst as inherent abilities. Divine beasts are the same in essence, with just a few different nuances.

It does give him a significant power boost in the form of phantasmal pedigree and circuitry, but of course if he was a demon he might have a reality marble.

In the end, even Nidhogg is not a threat to our resident priest so its all good for me.

Maybe in a different RP, as a Reality Marble that brings every one to his own version of Nifilheim would be awesome, but I think Nidhogg is could as he is.

Well Cage and Tomoe would double team an opponent if circumstances are right.

If they double team Nidhogg, he will go straight for the weak human, as no magus is a match for a servant, especially an untrained one, or he would try and use Tomoe's madness against her and make her A) Kill Cage or B)Kill cage indirectly by burning through all of his Prana. berserkers are difficult servants to provide for, and since Neither of them are going to take the Medea route that Nidhogg will be taking, I weep for poor Cage.

I personally would like to see a fight between Lancer and Beast, Saber and Archer, Beast and Saber, Caster and Beast(talking about it got me pumped). As for team up's, I think Saber and Archer would make a good team, maybe Saber and Berserker, and possible Berserker and Beast, even though that would be Impossible to put into effect, ever. Thomas has a strong servant, true, but almost nobody will form an alliance with him because of how much of a fucked up nut Nidhogg is. Only one I can see doing that would be Jacob and Assassin, and that would only be for them to kill Thomas and take Beast out of the game before he kills more innocents.

No master can beat a servant? That's quite untrue. The priest can flat out 1 vs 1 most servants in this RP under special circumstances.

I said no Magus, priest is different because he's an OP bastard. I don't like what he's up to one bit. Stinks too much of some sort of Kotomine Kirei-esque type business.

Edit: @PaulHaynek, What do you think should be the limit to the size of Nidhogg's dragon form?

Even in canon, though those Masters who try it tend to have hax magics or special abilities that let them survive more than five seconds.

Your overestimating servants here. Rin with her special jewels can kill almost any servant with a surprise attack, they are A ranked attacks by the way which are lethal to a servant body.

Kuzuki, albeit with reinforcement, is capable of defeating Saber, of course he has trained in an assassination school for almost all his life. Emiya naturally can have a defensive fight against a servant with projection. Emiya Shiro without any knowledge of his abilities managed to live more than "5 seconds" against Lancer, albeit with Lancer not being serious. A half rate reinforcement poster can block a light thrust with Gae Bolg. Etc.

Oh by the way, Kotomine Kirei using command seals can fight servants. Hint hint.

Depends on the Servant really. Rin spent up almost ten years worth of stored Prana to kill Herakles once, which isn't exactly a feat you can do more than once on short notice.

I would argue that Kuzuki would have lost had that fight gone on much longer, since Saber was becoming accustomed to his fighting style. Which is why he bugged out when he did. And I seem to recall most of Emiya's fight with Lancer involving him running away and getting his ass kicked, with nary a chance of him actually winning in sight.

@mcpop9 Who do you think would win in a fight, your berserker or my beast. I'm not to sure, since it really depends on how strong she get's with her Madness Enchantment, as well as how reckless she gets. Nidhogg, no matter what, is patient in all things except food. Being trapped for a majority of your life, plotting such bloody revenge, will do that for you. He's a psychopath, but he's a smart psychopath and will make sure to do his best to survive any battle he's in, cause the war isn't his number 1 priority.

I think Nidhogg's disinterest in the grail gives him an edge over other servant's in survivability as it makes it so that he doesn't care if he wins or loses a battle, as long as he survives it. Unless you piss him off, then he'll do his utmost to torture, kill, then eat you.

This is Heracles we are talking about, who deflected three A ranked ice spears that Rin made and was only killed when his A+ Strength grip was countered and he was surprised by FIVE A ranked blasts of light. Rin wanted to go overkill, as was specifically stated in the VN. She originally believed only 2 or 3 jewels was enough to beat Heracles, but Shirou and Saber forced her to use at least 5 in order to be safe.

One A ranked attack can easily destroy a servant if it hits directly. All of Medea's beams would have disintegrated Archer instantly. Kuzuki would not have lost that fight had he not killed Saber the first time he skirmished her. His Snake style is bred from a mountain assassin school in Fuyuki where literally all you do is train in assassination to kill the enemy in as short a time as possible. Its the ultimate assassination technique that focuses entirely on strangeness to confuse an opponent. Kuzuki himself does not match to servants, but his fighting style does. Bazett can defeat servants quite handily too.
Not many masters have been top grade in terms of modern potential anyway, with people like Uryuu and Waver and blah. It is extremely hard to defeat a servant of course, but its not as hard as you think it is. You just need to know some of the more obscure stuff around in the Nasuverse.

@Raijinslayerfunnilly enough, looking at Tomoe vs most other servants feels a bit weak when you stack noble phantasms against one another. I'm thinking her madness is a rather large buff due to home field advantage and the fact her abilities are so small in comparison to everyone else. She is going to lose vs most people now that i think about it. If i can't add a few buffs with consent, she's going to be the most reserved beserker that we've seen.

As for tricking her into killing her master, that's a long shot if at all possible without the most blatantly op mind control. She may turn crazy, but her honor and loyalty never waver.

And on the topic of the previously mentioned buffs, anyone mind if i add a few things to her sheet? i'm feeling horribly outclassed...
