Kitty sighed. Yeah, she hadn’t really thought so. But… Ugh. Might as well keep her hopes up, right?

They’d caught up to the rest of the students! Well, that was nice. Why’d they stop? Kitty hummed, standing on her tiptoes to try and see over everyone’s heads. It… wasn’t working. Wait, could she just teleport over?

[color=f7941d]“Hola, peeps,”[/color] said Graham, and Kitty jumped about ten feet in the air. Woah. He’d appeared out of nowhere! Did he have invisibility powers or something?

[i]"Konnichiwa,"[/i] said Cheol. Woah, was that Japanese?

[color=00aeef]"Yo, Graham,”[/color] Alexis greeted him.[color=00aeef] "Go run off after shouting like an idiot?"[/color]

Oh, yeah. Kitty remembered hearing him start shouting. He’d been talking to that, uh… Scottish guy? Or was it Irish? She had no clue, but he’d sounded foreign. 

[color=f49ac2]“Heya, Graham!”[/color] she said. [color=f49ac2]“Where’ve you been? We’ve been waiting for you! Man, I’m hungry. I could totally go for some food right now… but I bet their cooking won’t be as great as my mom’s. Which kind of sucks, actually! If I’d known I’d be whisked off to some top-secret superhero school, I’d have eaten more at dinner last night! Wait, was it last night?”[/color]

Oooh. That was a lot of words, all at once. When were they getting fooooood? She was really, really hungry. And she wanted to text her parents. They were sure to be worrying, after all! Her dad in particular… he’d always been kind of overprotective.

Surreptitiously, she checked her phone. Still no signal? Would there [i]ever[/i] be signal?

Well, she’d think about it later.
