He didn't know either of them, ad for that simple reason he normally wouldn't have stopped to talk, but one seemed to be a new player. [i]That[/i] was cause for him to pause a moment. On the altruistic end of the spectrum, he wanted to see if they were adjusting well. But on the other end, he loved talking to new players for the simple reason that their opinions were fresh. A new take on a world that he was already used to, and fresh eyes were an invaluable learning experience.
