Get away from here. That was Jake's prevailing thought too. He hoped Aya would take her own advice and run for the hills. The people milling around made the dog feel even more uncomfortable than he already was and when someone accidentally bumped into him he snapped in their general direction to warn them away. He then turned his attention whoever or whatever Aya was looking at. His eyes landed on a young girl. The dog tilted his head in confusion for a second until it finally clicked in his head who this was. There had been rumors spreading through the base about a little girl who had supposedly kicked the ass of one Cedric Wessex. With Aya's warning of an attack from the underground movement, Jake finally put two and two together. Now he really wanted to get out of there. He grabbed at the base of Aya's shirt with his teeth and pulled with surprising force in an attempt to get him to move. [@C3p-0h]

Massacre. The word kept repeating in his head. He was dead several times over. With a flick of his wrist, Mu had killed him. He had reabsorbed the duplicate with the snapped neck without even meaning to, proximity alone driving the process. The duplicates memory came along with it and his dying thought too. Jackson...Mu had killed him. And he probably wouldn't be the last one he killed. With a groan, Nate shoved the mat off of him. He had grabbed hold of it to stop from slamming into the wall and had torn half of it up in the process, the safety mat falling over him as he came to a stop. The concussive force of Mu's blast had rattled Nate's brain in his skull. The dead clone only compounded his headache. As he lay on his back he covered his eyes with his hands, knowing that it was only going to get worse. He finally pushed himself to his feet and looked around. Massacre. His eyes lingered on the pile of rubble near the door and the two dead duplicates beneath it. There wasn't even a hint of remorse in Mu was there? He then turned and moved towards the unconscious duplicate by the back wall. There was a puddle of blood growing beneath the duplicate's head and Nate knew it was only a matter of time before he bled out. Nate knelt beside his clone and after a sigh he put his hand to the duplicates head, reabsorbing him back into his body. A wave of pain rushed through his head as he did. He had really hit hard. He took a moment to let the pain subside before slowly rising and making his way to the duplicate off to the side who groaned as he approached. "How bad is it?" Nate asked him. "Not so bad" replied the duplicate "I mean I can't feel my legs but I'll get over it" "Yeah you will buddy" Again the duplicate was reabsorbed. This time Nate felt his own legs buckle briefly after the process and would likely have fallen to his knees had a pair of new duplicates not spawned and held him up. Nate regained his composure and took a step back as his head spun again. "This is a disaster" said the clone to Nate's left as he looked around. The duplicate to Nate's right nodded his head in agreement and said "So we know what we have to do, right?" "We have to stop the kid from hurting anyone else" answered the left clone. "Stop him? We have to put him down!" The left duplicate looked appalled at the very idea and turned back to his brother, telling him "He's just a kid!" "A psychotic kid who can wipe out half the people in this building without even trying!" responded the right duplicate, breaking into a yell. Nate suddenly waved his arms haphazardly in their direction as though trying to banish both of them back to his thoughts "Enough!" he yelled "I have enough to deal with without you two playing the little angel and little devil on my shoulders!" He then smacked them both on the back of their heads and they were reabsorbed into him. He took a moment to absorb the relative silence, knowing that there probably wasn't going to be any for a while. And then he let out a scream. It echoed off the walls of the gym like some ferocious roar. The scream was half out of frustration and half to psych himself up. He knew that Mu had to be stopped, one way or another. He'd have to decide how best to do that when he had the chance. He had to find the kid but knew that probably wouldn't be difficult. He'd just follow the trail of chaos. But first he had to make a stop. Nate tilted his head from side to side, a noticeable crack coming from his neck as he did so. His face seemed to drain of emotion then. It was time for business. His game face was firmly on. With a renewed confidence in his gait, he made his way to the door. His confident swagger was ruined somewhat when he passed the pile of rubble and the duplicates underneath were reabsorbed, causing his legs to buckle slightly again. He quickly regained his composure though and left the gym. Mu had effectively sucker punched him. "My turn." (TL;DR Nate reabsorbs his dead and dying clones, argues with himself again and decides to go bitch-slap Mu.)
