A Memory of Today, Kept for Tomorrow, While Remembering Yesterday

Seoul, 20 June 2015. Almost a year from when the first Activator and Memento appeared. Now as the percentage of Activators approaches 0,01% or 1 in 10000 governments around the world can't ignore the problem anymore. Starting on 17th April with the Activator Registration Law in PR China which obliqued all Activators to register in a the newly founded National Activator Registries, countries around the the world regulated Activators. On 11th May the Republic of Korea passed the Activator Crime Law which forbid Activators from using their Mementos to what was under Korean law any kind of criminal activity, under the threat of a increased length of the sentence. To accommodate Activator criminals a special penal facility on a island in south Jeolla has been erected and special units for Activator crimes have been incorporated into the police forces of Korea.

Trough S. Korea is peaceful for now dark clouds and conflict might wait in the countries future ...

Military training from a young age, underwent a year of ROTC in US and is currently training with the South Korean ROTC as a part of the CULP program. Material arts.

Personality: Alex is an open minded woman which is quite serious in most situations, but will show her energetic and cheerful side when with friends.
Bio: Born in as the second daughter and child of James Deluge a American of French origin and a Colonel in the US Army. Her mother, Alma Claive died seven months after Alex's birth in a car accident. Under the harsh hands of her father and uncle (her uncle is Issac Deluge, a former Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps) she was brought up in a fashion similar to military training, later joined with material arts, which lead to her entering ROTC after completing high school. Also participated in a number of shooting competitions to elevate her marksmanship training, winning a number of medals in different shooting sports. Except for military and martial arts, Alex also has one other large interest in her life, cartography, which was her second choice for further education.
Other: Only friends and comrades are allowed to call her Alex, so if you use and are not one of the two you might anger her.

Equipment: 風, Yumi (traditional Japanese longbow used in the traditional Japanese archery art of Kyudo), a Japanese produced Smartphone with a shiny amount of functions.

Kyudo, 1st Dan (most Japanese martial arts use the Dan and Kyu rank system).

Personality: Yuna is a quiet girl which hides under the veil of silence with only a occasional protest or smile let out in the company of friends.
Bio: Yuna was born in Hakodate and lived there until a year and half ago when a fire burned away her home while she was visiting her older sister (Ema) which was in Sapporo to go to collage. This broke her peaceful and happy world, as the flames took the lives of her parents (Ume <Murakuni> and Ita Narumura) and two younger siblings (Rena and Maki). Using the money from the insurance on the house and her family she could finish high school and her older sister did not need to worry about paying collage fees. Still after finishing High School she went to find a job which would allow her to continue education. Trough she managed to get a job in a shipyard in Ulsan, but had to leave due to the need to find a more permanent job which she found in Seoul as a backstage worker for one band.
Other: She is quarter American from her mother's side.

All OK for now. Hope this will give all of you an idea about the general idea behind characters and defining the starting stats of a Memento. Also I will not even count your non-Activator characters so you make use as much of them as you want to or can use. For now you can have two Activator characters.

A combination of Guild derping, and my laptop dying took out all my CS data, so I'm placeholding, I suppose.

Would it be possible to have a Memento be a tattoo or brand?

EDIT: I'm aware they're supposed to be non-living objects, but I think it could be considered an object the same way a prosthetic hand is, given the Memento is more the ink, rather than the appendage.

Well trough uncommon it is possible. Just like the rumored living Mementos.

I hope you like the idea I had-- if you don't, I'd be happy to rework it.

Oh a rare case of a Memento created at the death's doorstep. I like the idea but I think you should do some changes to her current personality, or it would be to hard to add her into the plot, trough for now since your CS is the first one (not counting mine) which is not just a skeleton, there is next to not ideas which possible plot I should take the future IC in.

Well the main issues are:
Lessen her negativity towards Activators if not humans at large so she can be brought into the probable future group(s) which will consist of our characters.
Through the near-death experience plus the creation of such a odd Memento would probably change her personality her self would stabilize itself in up to a weeks time. Any new personality born from such way would still be build on the basis of the old one so you need to take this in account.

I am sad to hear that you are unable to join us Gemi. Well the RP is always open so if you wish to join later on please do so. Till some other RP then.

I hope so, and you never know when inspiration will strike. It's actually a bit easier to think about a character when I'm not holding others up.
