He laughed a little and ruffled her hair a bit more "good, then come with me downstairs" he smiled and went downstairs and went over to the stove playing around with it until it turned on. He then looked to Aaliyah "What should we eat?" he asked
Aaliyah hummed to herself, leafing through the kitchen cabinets and the fridge. "Chicken Alfredo Baked Zuti?" She questioned him with a raised eyebrow. What? She was a great cook and enjoyed food.
He looked to her surprised by her knowledge of food "haha that sounds good, you never told me you had such a knowledge of food" he smiled and got the stove started for her.
Aaliyah giggled as she began taking out the ingredients. "Like I said, I love cooking. It's one of my favorite things to do besides dancing." She set the chicken breasts aside before she began cutting the vegetables. "Can you begin boiling the mini pasta?" She asked him, focusing on her task.
He smiled and nodded then went to put some water in a pot before putting the pasta noodles in. Then he stood there and watched her curiously, still intrigued by the fact that she could cook.
Aaliyah had finished cutting the vegetables and was rinsing the chicken off in the sink when she noticed she was being watched. "What?" She asked with amusement on her face as she began cutting the boneless chicken.
He chuckled a little and shook his head "it's just interesting is all, you're just, so amazing." he said then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek
Aaliyah giggled at the compliment and blushed when he wrapped his arms around her from behind kissing her cheek. She then smirked before turning around in his arms so she's facing him. She wrapped her arms around his neck loosely looking him in the eyes.
He blushed as well and was surprised when she turned to face him. He held her tightly in his arms "haha is that so? Let's fix that" he said before looking into her eyes. Slowly he brought his face to hers and touched his lips to hers kissing her gently, feeling his heart flutter.
Aaliyah smiled against his lips, kissing him back and tightening her grip on his neck. After a few more moments she moved her lips from his and gave him a teasing smile before going back to cutting the chicken as if nothing happened.
He chuckled a little then went to check on the pasta. "Pastas done" he said then went to drain the water from it then left it on the side for her. "So, need help with anything else?" he asked
Aaliyah had finished cutting the chicken and was now dipping the chicken into the batter. "Um, yes." She finished with the chicken and put them in a bowl. "Can you fry these in oil please?" And while that was cooking she would begin mixing the noodles with the cheese sauce she was making.
He nodded and went to do so. Putting the chicken into a pan to fry it "haha not sure it's a good idea to trust me with cooking though. I'm terrible at it." He laughed and fried all the chicken eventually and finished setting it aside for her. He could tell this was going to be good.
Aaliyah laughed at his reluctant nature. "Don't worry, you did perfrctly!" Finally, she put everything in a pan accordingly and placed it in the oven to cook for a bit longer. "Don't worry, It's almost done."
She then gave him a long kiss on the lips. "Thank you for your help."
He blushed and smiled "you're welcome. And thank you for being a blessing to me" he said and wrapped his arms around her once more "tell me, how did this American man meet this wonderful English girl?" he asked and chuckled a little.
Aaliyah blushed before giggling. "Guess your just lucky." She said teasingly before grinning to show she was joking. She couldn't resist giving him one more kiss.
Aaliyah pulled away from him to check on the food. "Now, actually." Aaliyah used a towel to pull the pan out of the oven and set it on the counter. "Tada!" She said with excitement motioning dramatically to the food.
Aaliyah walked over to him with the pan, plates and silverware. She set everything down before she worked on setting the table and placing food on both their plates.
