The Walk of God - Part 6
Nothing was disturbing the beast anymore, Wessex had barely dodged the last attack and Light was taking it hard against the reinforced door. Patel noticed quickly that smashing the immortal girl would lead to nothing, hence the transparent vector branching out into three other vectors and plunging their fingers on the steel walls surrounding the door. Though just as hard, they would be easier to fissure and bend, thus with another Light smash on the door, it would knock the whole piece of metal through the control room. Simultaneously to the creatures attempt to break the final defenses of the control room, the transparent hat missed Wessex had done the same as the first arm, a new vector branched out of the first one's wrist and caught Wessex in his dodging action. The vector would bind his healthy arm against his body as he'd levitate next to the monster, helpless. The creature entered the room, half broken by the huge door crashing on its many computers. As it entered, it scraped the floor of explosive hazards left by Light as their flagrant appearance made it clear that they could be dangerous. Patel was nearing the central computer, the one Cedric would use to coordinate pretty much anything in case of a crisis. In a few steps, Patel's mission would end.
Camille Mahroug - Deception
"Haha, I knew you'd listen to m- Wait what?" She couldn't believe it, nor really conceive the idea that she'd be rejected so quickly after pulling off such great bargaining skills. She cocked her brow in disbelief, thinking is was some kind of joke. Plus she was asking her to LEAVE, after all she had done. The blonde did more damage than Camille, so why would she be the one to go away? She switched her pointing hand with her umbrella, the spiked end aiming at the blonde. The dog's growling didn't go unnoticed, but it seemed to have calmed down when Aya had awoken, which left Camille in a state of ease. But then she'd notice the voice was not coming from the girl but from right next to her own person. What was this? It felt like Patel was whispering something but this was a feminine and coherent speech. Camille wasn't scared of course, considering her affiliations, but her state of ease vanished instantly. "'Ey I dunno what powers you're using now, but I'm giving you a gift. Between asthma girl here and the base that's about to be..." She paused for a moment and turned her head at the destruction Patel had brought on the building without even trying to completely annihilate it. It was scary, as she knew the time was near and she'd have to run for it when the monster's mission would be over. Her head would face Ann's approximate position, taking a wild guess as to where that strange power would manifest itself. "... As you can see we're better at defending our own that these clowns. Beats ending up on the streets, huh?" She gave as final reply to convince the girl. She looked a bit more serious, her anxiousness would be more visible as her uncertainty rose. Ghosts were never her thing, but the fact that she didn't even know what this was made her stress.
