The wives are allowed to bite back at their husbands, right? Or does no over-powering exclusively mean that any attempted fighting on the part of the Gems is hopeless and will only end in failure? Also, is killing off your wives frowned on or a common thing? I.e. is there any old Gem wives or are they removed in place of the younger ones?

Also, Sarek Zagmar is downright creepy! Would not like to be the poor girl marrying that!
