((Collab Response by Raijin and Shiho))

Aiden & Oriel
Aiden was slightly surprised by the man’s lack of hiding, but quickly saw the lack of need for it as the man spoke. It was obvious he had some alternative plan for dealing with Ajax in order to make his escape, but Aiden wasn’t in the mood to find out. When he launched his sand attack, Aiden’s mind snapped into overdrive trying to think of what could be done to counter the maneuver. If he switched into TDS mode, he could probably launch a large enough Water attack to disrupt it, but that would be showing his hand much too early. Unlike his battle with Ajax, their lives where on the line and it’s hardly ever to go at an enemy with your strongest moves right off the bat. Still, they couldn’t very well outrun the attack. . . but they might just be able to out maneuver it. Thinking fast, Aiden picked up Oriel and used Water Dragon’s Flying Step to blast them into the air. He’d continued to do this until they were above the sand plume, looking down on their enemy from way up high. If Claudus made the sand launch at him, Aiden would be sure to maneuver out of the way. “Oriel, glass the area with as much fire as you can without burning us to a crisp as well.” Now with Aiden carrying her, Oriel smiled at the prospect of it. It was nice to be the one carried once in a while.... though, it was no time to be thinking that. Aiden gave out the directions for what he wanted her to do, and Oriel nodded at his instructions. "Hey, don't you trust me? I am crazy, but not crazy enough to also burn you out." Oriel said to him, looking directly into his eyes. "Then, I'm outta here to beat the shit out of that guy." Oriel said, flashing another smile at Aiden and motioning with her hand as if to say goodbye. She let herself drop from his arms and dived towards the huge mass of sand that was threatening to swallow the both of them. She opened her arms and set her sights on it, narrowing her eyes and preparing herself for it. A huge blast, yeah, nothing to it. "Burn the hell up!" She snapped her fingers with both of her hands, and a huge flame was produced in the middle of the sand wave. Oriel smiled. The heat was so intense the sand started turning into crystal soon enough. With that, she would be able to create some footing. "Now what, Aiden-chan?" She shouted at Aiden, not wanting to go on all by herself. Even she knew the guy was a bit too much for her to handle alone. Aiden smirked at Oriel's comment, one that grew into a grin as she turned the plume of sand into a tower of glass. He then began charging magical energy as he fell towards the crystaline tower, a blue magic circle forming at his feet and a bluish white one forming over his right hand. After a few moments of free fall, in which the glow from the magic sigils grew extremely bright, Aiden took a breath as he tapped into his dragonic blood, drawing only a small amount of energy from it and thus preventing further change into his TDS mode. "Get ready to move, Oriel," He shouted as his energy began to spike slightly, a pulse emanating from the blue sigil as he unleashed he initiated the magic. "Water Dragon's Blitzing Charge!" With the shout came a roaring cascade as began to form violently around him, forming a type of elongate water fall around his body as it rocketed him around at high speed towards the side of the tower, his hand pulled back as he clawed his hands together to mold the water that formed around him into a small sphere which he pushed forward as he shouted his second spell. "Ice Make: Fallen Crest of the Ice Dragon!" The sphere expanded just before he crashed into the construct, forming the head of a dragon with a large set of ram's horns, bursting through the upper half of the tower and causing a large amount of sharp glass debris to fall towards Claudus' position. But Aiden wasn't done yet as he used Water Dragon's Step to launch him out of the falling debris, suffering a few cuts on his way out. "Oriel, light it up, Ice Dragon's Blizzarding Roar!" He took a deep breath before launching a devastating gale of frigid winds and long, razor sharp shards of ice towards the falling debris, mixing with and propelling the crystalline debris to rush forward at high speeds. Oriel whistled at Aiden's ability to improvise so many moves in such a short time. She couldn't be done in by her partner. She herself smirked, while she turned around to shatter some of the crystal she had formed and use it as footing to move forward and not fall to the ground just yet. She'd be on Claudius' territory if that were to happen. It was obvious that the guy wasn't about to just stand there and receive their attacks as if they were a present, though. Oriel followed up Aiden's instructions and snapped her fingers to light up the wind around his roar. "Just make damn sure it doesn't melt before we get to attack!" She shouted after she lit Aiden's attack. Oriel then started shattering more and more of the crystals falling down to make more footing for herself. She started on moving from crystal to crystal until she finally was near enough the guy. She did make sure that Aiden's attacks had already reached their destination before going into close quarters against Claudius. "Your fucking luck just ran out, eye patch!" Following with her next physical attack, Oriel spun around in the air while she lit up her leg. "Burning Leg!" After spinning around, Oriel aimed her kick at the guy's head. "Head Reaper!" Her kick approached the guy's head at a certainly dangerous speed, and she was fairly sure that she was taking him off guard, since Aiden just helped her create some window for that attack.
[@j8cob]
Revan
“Be there, huh, that’ll be tough since he’s a Vyper and we no longer share their guildhall but I’ll try. I. . .I really do want to make this work, I’m just terrible at understanding people. Now, I have to deal with one at what is likely the most annoying time, their teenage years.” Revan groaned as he ran a hand through his hair, thinking about ways he could try and make it up to the kid. Everything he came up with, however, seemed to be cheap, petty, and would probably only make the boy even more closed off to him. He fell backwards with curse as he thought back to his idiotic outburst at the gate, spouting out more foul curses upon himself as he replayed the scene in his head a couple times. “Anna, I don’t even know if I can even remedy what I did. I told him to his face that he was a mistake that never should’ve happened, not because I didn’t want him there, but I panicked thinking about what would happen now that he is here. I’ve lived a long life, Anna, and I’ve committed a great many sins before I joined Harpy Wing.” Revan dropped his hand from his hair to his chest, over his heart, feeling the burn of the Demon’s Maw Guild Seal as it sat there, a constant reminder to him of what he was before. “How many of my sins will he have to bear, and how long will it be before they turn him down that same dark path.” He sat for a moment longer, contemplating, before he let out another groan, this one being of frustration and annoyance. “I’ve known I’ve had a kid for about a week, met him only twice, and yet I can’t help but worry about him.” Anna was right about one thing, parenting fucking hurt, and he’d barely gotten into it. “This is going to be a fucking pain in the neck for a while before it even starts to get better, I can already tell." [@Saltwater Thief]
Xavier
Xavier was back at the Lamia Scale training grounds, practicing his sword play with Knight. His Demon King Curse was always more reliable when he was truly angry, the negative emotions allowing him to connect with his demon side more effectively.Currently, he was getting his ass kicked, as Knight backhanded him to the floor after disarming him. Knight was not as corporeal as he was in Augustine, nor were his skills as sharp as before, but they were more than enough to deal with his sorry excuse for swordplay. Xavier got up slowly, grimacing as he reached up to his face, his hand coming away with blood. Great, looks like I’ve split my fucking lip. He spit out some blood as he finished getting up, raising his obsidian blade again in preparation for another clash. Knight said nothing, getting into a similar, if noticeably more steady, stance himself. The two stared at each other for a bit, then Xavier came in with a thrust. which was deftly dodged byKnight as he offered his in combat critiques. “My Liege, you must learn to stop telegraphing your attack so obviously. Don’t look at where you’re going to stab your opponent, just move and let the blade to the rest.” As he spoke, he came around and swung his blade at Xavier’s open side, the blunted edge knocking the wind out of him and causing him to fall over with a cursing hiss. Yet still, he got up again, spitting out more blood as he looked toward Knight, blade at the ready. Knight sighed, but he too got into position and thus they continued their training session. Anyone who stumbled in on the matter would find Xavier getting beaten rather soundly and somewhat brutally by Knight, as Xavier had demanded that he fight without holding back, an order which he partially listen to. He was going out as hard as he could without risk of seriously injuring or killing the boy, but he seemed driven to cause himself as much pain as possible while he learned how to fight, though Knight half expected that was exactly what he wanted. He always put himself through great amounts of physical pain in order to block out the emotional pain broiling with in.
