[i]The first thing anybody would notice about Delight, is likely her hair. With its near-white violet hue and short length, styled into a cute bob, it makes her stand out from others and serves as a foolproof method of identifying her from a distance. Her eyes, too, possess the same unnatural colouring as her hair, which she puts up to her "Abnormal Heritage".[/i] [hr][b]Blood Purity:[/b] Pureblood [i](1/10th Something-else)[/i]

[b]Magical Talents:[/b] While her intelligence and academic nature lend well to magical study, Delight's personality and general lack of motivation impedes any attempts by her to improve in her disfavoured subjects. She is, however, a brilliant Potioneer, and possesses a natural affinity for the Dark Arts and Alchemy to go along with passable skills in most other subjects.

[b]Short bio[/b]
Delight comes from a long-running Wizarding family from out of Britain, who sent their only daughter to Hogwarts in order to attend the same prestigious magical institute that they once did. Her mother, who she was always close with, is currently overseas pursuing her career as a Potioneer. Her father, an astronomer and magical theorist, has always cooped himself up in his tower, and was never really all that close with his daughter.

Delight herself lived mostly a happy childhood, even though much of it was spent on her own, she savoured every passing moment that she was allowed to spend with her family. She always looked up to her mother, which explains her blooming talent as an amateur Potioneer. She's received a single letter from her family since first arriving at Hogwarts, which was from her mother, praising her marks in school.

Her student life has mostly been one of lonesome study, subtleties and careful, secret hobbies. She's developed into the greatest source of bootleg potions in the school, and even runs her own shop out of a certain abandoned Girl's lavatory. Naturally, she does all of this outside of the view of the Prefects and Teachers. As far as Black Market goods and information control are concerned, she is among the great school powers, and she could be said to have a great amount of influence within the student body.

[b]Personality[/b]
Fickle, venomous and short-tempered, Delight embodies many of the traits common in both young Dark Wizards and young delinquents. To her, knowledge is the greatest possible goal, and her devotion to her dark studies is likely the strongest among all of her interests. She has a cruel interest in others, a sort of playful, catlike nature that wants to toy with and pick apart the minds and hearts of those who interest her. 

She can also, however, be a very laid-back and thoughtful person, when somebody has managed to escape the brunt of her malice. It's pretty much unheard of for her to ever be without an idea or solution to a problem, a trait that makes her a surprisingly reliable person to have around in a crisis. She adores strange, or interesting things, which she claims [i]"Help her stave off the horrors of a bored mind~"[/i].

Her sense of humour is a little off, and she sometimes seems to find endless amusement from seemingly innocuous things.
