Yes, it is young, but that doesn't mean he's a kid. 29 may be considered a very young adult by elven standards, but that's only because elves live so long. So, its young, but not unfathomably so; humans would look at him as an adult.

Yep, something like this! For my setting I'd say between 600 - 800 years instead, however, because [s]I have to be difficult[/s] 1000 seems just too long to me for some reason.
