Ah, you're so lucky to be able to travel around and see all the cool stuff at these kind of conventions. It's always more exciting to go to a Con a while away then one in your home town I find. Bring back any cool souvenirs? :3 Anyway, I can't say exactly how and this is going to sound a little prideful, but trust me when I think it's good we change stuff just a little. I think, just to let you know, that I am gonna tweak Xeph a lil more. I always feel so airy when starting out with characters and then later they become more grounded and I can imagine how they would act and what not, I still feel like I'm walking on misty ground with Xeph; so i'm just gonna give him a few more quirks and maybe bring more of his background into play. Secondly, I know we shouldn't restrict ourselves to any strict schedule of events, but I feel like we could...ah, sort of discuss more planned events and add on just a little more details or rough sketches onto them. I say up the drama a little, we can go a little dramatic in the planning then be more realistic when it comes to execution (forgive me I just love those big dramatic anime scenes where it's just so cliché, but you wanna cry a little inside). So yeah, more tension. Maybe put more of a stress on your character's stay because it kinda feels like they both are a little aimless now you know? I can clearly see your character's curiosity to find out more about the demon, but I feel like we need to add a bit more tension and purpose to both our characters because it all feels a bit too relaxed now. Maybe a time limit on one of them that spells out dire consequences. A mystery that grows suspicions towards each other, but they ultimately have to work together to solve it. Just throwing out a few suggestions. I will rant so; to add onto the previous paragraph, the way I see it is that the characters have no real motive or drive to get to know each other and that's fine, usually I like characters that are cold or butt heads a little and I would think even with what we already had planned, the demon might grow to tolerate the angel, but wouldn't try to get all buddy buddy with him in the long run and when it comes down to it, he would faster abandon him than anything else if he had a choice. So rather than giving my stubborn lil priest the benefit of ignorance, I would like the surrounding or situation to somewhat force a bonding in a ways. I always love pitting characters against challenges and conflicts; to the point I think I may be slightly sadistic. With all this said, I think it would give the characters more choices as well. Sure it sounds strange to type that when they're being forced into a corner a little bit, but it adds more weight to their choices I think and eliminates the less...meaningful ones that play no real role or effect. So yeah, in case you don't understand my ranting, which you probably won't ^^" (hehe Sorry) I just want a little reboot, maybe from a certain 'checkpoint' where we can maybe add more long term tension and conflict. We can discuss that here.
