I'd imagine that would be a struggle your character will face; it's used to being nomadic and not needing supplies, but now it can't forage enough to do so, it would have to adapt. Your character might just not travel for extended distances in their animal for, or maybe youll find an unconventional way to carry things around as her animal form.
