You can do cool stuff, just don't go overboard.  Since they're pirates, it's expected that the majority of them are fairly experienced and athletic.  So don't do too much crazy ninja shit, but they can certainly be talented.

As for controlling the enemies, for the majority of the minor fights, you will just write about your own opponents and beat up as many different people you feel like they're capable of.  They will be some characters introduced later that will be more vital to the plot, so someone will take them on as another character/NPC.  Peeps have given me ideas of the villain they'd like to see/play, so they will be introduced as we go along.

You guys came come up with ideas and baddies on your own.  If you wanna set something up with another player(s), plan it out together and then come back to me just to check and make sure it won't mess up something someone else already planned.
