A mix. Nanuni is really cheerful, if only because the alternative was to become a jaded cynic, something she wouldn't enjoy. It's not that she isn't aware of the horrors the world has to offer, it's just that she doesn't dwell on it. I suppose when it comes to family her first reaction would to really play everything off as a joke. That would be the only time that she'd fake being happy. You could tell because she's trying real hard to be witting and thinking about her responses instead of just shooting off the mouth. But as I said, it really depends on who is asking and what they're saying exactly. 

[@Dragonite777] Also i'll be making an Elven Aristocrat. I'm thinking that her family could have gained their nobility thanks to their ability to give certain materials special properties. Sort of like a mix of Alchemy and Enchanting. I'll PM you soon.
