History/Bio: Jon Norn came from a poor family and was often bullied by those who came from rich homes. Jon felt the only way of dealing with such bullies was by being stronger and tougher than them. While he was not wrong, it took a lot of hard knocks to get to a point where his bullies were finally afraid of him. Soon all the other bullied students came to him for protection and through these bodyguard jobs he met Alder. Alder would be a repeat customer who needed Jon not just as guard but as a friend after the passing of his father. When Alder's fathers died, he became the sole heir to their families wealth and a target for some of the nastier rich brats who had once feared his father's connections. No longer afraid of the repercussions they would relentlessly tease Alder for his stout weight and height. Jon had earned the nickname Bosco when had first saved Alder from such of bullies. When Alder was young he had an imaginary friend who was big and strong and in the attack he thought somehow that Bosco had manifested himself into Jon who could protect him. Alder quickly realized what he was saying was insane but Jon took it and kept the nickname saying it 'felt like the name of an strong warrior'. While Jon was the obvious brawn of the pair, Alder was put in the position to be their brains and with Jon's help they managed to 'rehabilitate' nearly all of the brats who felt they could tease and attack whom ever they choose. 

Even after their graduation Jon became Alder's personal protector and friend and did so until the day Alder brought him Sword Art Online. Alder had beta tested the game and was ready for it before Jon and on the release he insisted Jon get some practice in so that he may be better prepared for when they both would play. But Alder hadn't joined by the time of the big reveal and Jon was left alone in a game he was only in because his best friend was supposed to be there with him. His biggest fear was wondering if Alder would be safe without him and for once was he not safe without Alder.

Personality: Bosco is honest and physically overbearing. He is not always pragmatic, but is a person who lets history run its course and acts according to his impulses. While he is wild and sometimes inconsiderate to others, he is always jovial and values friendship highly. He also admires people who treat friendship with sincerity and he is compassionate and protective to those with whom he bonds.
