It's 1:30 AM and I just had the most horrifying thought: the real reason why Dorian's such a prickly bastard is that every time he tries to be nice to someone, it comes off like he's HITTING ON THEM. So he's actually a really decent guy but he's basically forced to act like a jackass all the time because otherwise he comes off as really creepy... But he's such a squishy marshmallow that he can't help it!!!

This is simultaneously the best and most horrible thing I've ever thought of. I feel sorry for Dorian. My poor convenient Murse.
