You can play as Tomas, and I'm sure [@RPforthatPR] would let you alter it to your wishes, or you could be a knight or something of the sorts. Or a militiaman, castle guard, a master-at-arms, perhaps a younger brother/sister of Joakim/Gregar/the bastard sister they have, or a nephew or niece. A smith, a spymaster for the Weades, a simple traveler that gets caught in this incoming trouble, or a bandit that roams the countryside with his band, and gets caught (or doesn't?). The world is your oister. You have a tabula rasa. :D
