It's not improbable that a bus driver being bugged by a little girl to lick a iickable sticker would end up licking the sticker. It's not improbable that another little girl had previously sprayed the stickers with bug-spray because she thought they were bugs. I think you can guess the conclusion from there. And of course, it's not impossible for two fugitives to hijack a bus, especially if the only people on the bus are little kids, a mother, and an old bus driver, and if there's no one around for a good distance.
