Though she'd manage to tone down most of her habits since her time aboard the Leviathan, she still had a considerable distrust of strangers – especially when they were interested in what you were doing. When she heard the woman climb into the vent, Winter slinked along the side of the building and dropped silently through the window and into the room. She made no sound as she straightened up, raising both her hands. Then she swatted Jax and Aubrey on the backs of their heads. She brushed past them, walking towards the vent. Picking the grate, she slammed it back onto the vent, jamming her stolen dagger in the side to make sure it stayed closed. Winter turned back to face her two young crew mates, her eyes sharp and icy.
