Winter
The bike skidded to a halt when she reached the dock and Winter killed the engine. She got off, and marched towards the ship to find Jax already there, and Taran not far behind her. "Jax," she called. "Tell the mechanic his job is done. Take over wherever he left off." She stuck her hand in her bag then and fished around, never breaking her stride. When she pulled it out, she brought with it a pair of fine leather work gloves. Tossing them over to Jax, she added, "Break these in, too." There wasn't much time for any further signs of affection, though. Winter made her way onto the ship, tossing her things in a corner where they wouldn't get in the way. Her mind spun with things to do – Prince and Aubrey could handle themselves well enough to make it to the ship, but Winston, the twins, and Angelo weren't exactly aware of the situation. Hopefully they'd see the commotion and figure it out. But Winter had to do something else before she could worry about any of that. She came to a stop in front of the door to the captain's quarters. Giving a breath, she steadied herself and knocked. Winter waited respectfully with her hands behind her back for the captain to open the door so she could let him know the situation. (Though odds were he knew the crew well enough to have some idea.)
