Cassie hopped she didn't appear flustered as Krista so casually threw her arm over her shoulders. [i]its nothing, Cas. Just friendship[/i] she looked to Krista and smiled, although it did seem almost shy. "Thank you. I remember my father would say my mother had the voice of angels, when she sang me to sleep." She said softly, moving her guitar to the side. "I don't remember much about them. But I remember she use to sing that song to me. Guess it stuck all these years" she said, with a soft, sad smile. Then she sighed softly, and seemed once more to put it behind her. "My aunt encouraged me to sing and play. She acts like she can't stand it, but I know it makes her happy to here me play." Talking was easier then thinking. Certainly easier then focusing on Krista's touch, and definetely better then listening to the thudding of her own heart. "Mostly, I just like playing because...it feels like i can reach my parents, wherever souls go when their bodies die" it was easy to talk to her friends like this. She didn't know where she would be without them, but it certainly wouldn't. E anywhere good
