Cassandra let herself enjoy the hug, returning it. Hugs were such warm things, with many different meanings. Often, it was like being enveloped in the warmth of friendship. Cassandra rarely spoke about her parents, but when she did, often it was in the company of her friends. Which made it easier. And if she was lucky, she'd get a hug. She smiled, "Thank you.
