The fish trap, woven from plant stems that Luz had pulled from the ground on the way, waited patiently for victims as it was set in the cool lake water. Luz was surprised at how clear and pristine it was when she waded in, and she took a moment to simply enjoy the feeling of sand on her toes. Then her head cleared and she headed back to the shore, where she started to weave a net. She planned to raft out where the water was good and deep, and simply scoop up whatever fish were there: they were likely too stupid to know that humans were a threat to be hidden from. The net and the raft both took a good sum of time, and by the time Luz had finished, she felt too tired to fish. That couldn't stop her though, as she did have a crew to feed. She pushed the raft into the water and got on, putting the net in the water.
