Don't you think it's a wee bit complicated? It will also require the dedication of many players which is as rare as vibranium. It will also take up some threads which may seem... interjecting? Assertive? I don't know the word. Me no English well.

Anyway, here's my proposed idea. It's a wee bit simpler and it may be crossing into stuff nobody likes.

The Humans, (well not really, just the dudes and dudettes at the Vatican), are sick of being the lowest species in the hierarchy of everything sentient. And since the Hero Faction isn't acting very hero-ish, they decided to put together a team that didn't rely on supernatural stuff like Longinuses or Sacred Gears ('cause let's face it, the D's and the A's snatch them up before you could say 'OPPAI!').

The team was to be armed with advanced technology provided by a dude who got his brain in a jar. This tech (which resembles Warhammer 40k) proved quite effective since they could now fight wacko Devils, crazy Fallen Angels, insane priests and evil summoners head-on but they would only do that if said hostiles are actually causing harm to the general public. (i.e. if a summoner got a Devil so he could play Blackjack, no one's getting hurt. In fact, if someone tried to get him, that someone would be facing retribution of biblical proportions)

That's where the RP starts, with the emergence of this team, the Ordo Vigilus/Ordo Excorium/(Insert cool Latin name here)/(Insert cool Aramaic name here). And the players react or be part of this new thing.

Or the RP could start in where everything goes south. Once the awesome and feared Vatican Team of [s]Space Marines[/s] Super Soldiers find out that God has kicked the bucket and everything they're fighting for is simply a big, fat lie, they lose a lot of zeal in what they're doing and their activity decreases a lot and everything seems to be going back to normal.

Except not 'cause a part of the team decided to spill the beans to the rest of the world who then mount a massive movement against the Church and everything religious and advocated against everything supernatural. This movement would then soon devolve into...

The Holy Wars/World War Three/The Civil War/[s]The Horus Heresy[/s] 

With advanced tech on both sides, the war WILL get bloody and a LOT of people are gonna die. The Alliance will have to do something since they kinda need humans to sustain their numbers and the war will likely take down at least half of the human population either because of collateral damage or because of the amount of soldiers both sides are fielding.

However, dark forces are in work to ensure everybody loses. Including themselves.[/hider]

I have little knowledge about HSDxD so I'll need help with the canon.
