Attempting to replicate the main story to One Piece is doomed to failure, as shown by this RP. Consider, for a moment, how One Piece is designed around the main character meeting a succession of quirky characters. The idea of a "main character" and the idea that a bunch of characters don't exist until the plot demands they do is inherently difficult to adapt to a freeform RP. Instead, why not set the RP in the One Piece [i]setting[/i], but avoid having it share the One Piece [i]plot[/i]?
