Titus
As the beast flew burning through the air from the force of Diego's, Titus ran towards it. He was about to deliver the mother of all haymakers to its exposed and charred skull when he realized that a meta behind him was charging up. He quickly rolled out of the way and slid in front of the monster, holding out his arms to make himself wider. Should the attack miss or do little damage to the monster, its only form of escape would be through him (though through him was a legitimate possibility). Though he would never admit it, Titus was impressed with these new metas. Though he could have handled himself fine against the creature, it was nice to know that he had backup. Now he just hoped that this would work. As the blast hit, Titus covered his ears and blocked his head with his arms. "WHOOSH!" The creature went limp. Titus laughed at its death and kicked it, sending the carcass skidding across the floor. Lupe walked over and gestured to Titus wounds. He puffed out his chest and flexed his muscles like a bodybuilder, showing off his ripped body. "Haha! Don't worry about me!" Titus boasted "I am the great Titus MacArthur, the strongest man in the world! My regeneration powers are so great that not even the bite of a...whatever the fuck that thing is...can stop me!" As the adrenaline and testosterone began to wear off, several spots on Titus' body began to ache, especially the still-healing gash in his right thigh from the creature's bite. In fact, there were several gaping wounds all over his body which were still in the process of healing, and he was fairly sure he had broken at least one rib, maybe three. "However," he grunted "I could use some Advil."
Spencer
Oh my God someone's talking to me. Spencer looked up from his book as Mika approached. His eyes glowed in the darkness, and the clouds of stellar gas swirling around in them turned a hot pink with fear. She was an Asian girl, well-dressed and slightly chubby. She said something about a monster, and he remembered the shouts he had heard from across campus. She introduced herself as Mika in an extroverted away, and Spencer seemed to almost visibly shrink into his mint oxford. He let the book go and lost his page. "Fuck" he muttered. "I'm...um...Spencer." he said in an almost unsure way "If there's a monster on the lose, don't you think we should, y'know, like, get a teacher or security or something? That sounds, like, pretty bad." He grabbed the book and stowed it away in his messenger bag. Then he put the bag on and stood up. It was getting late and he didn't feel like being monster food.
