[b]Alliance of Nine[/b]

[i]The Alliance is nine is a coalition of what were once nine nations based upon the worlds Triton and Alara. The flag and stars are based upon the Star of Alara which was a long standing religious symbol before the destruction of Alara at the hands of an unknown advesary. Before this happened the people of Triton and Alara were warring people, not just between worlds but between continents on those worlds. Now such squabbles are a thing of the past. Individual nation names have been removed with the knowledge that there are beings out there with deadly capability who seem willing to use it, despite how safe they may feel when their star system is surrounded by strange mists.[/i]

I plan for them to be a semi-advanced race. Space flight capabilities however still using kinetic weapons on ships and land based systems, more or less "Pressed" into an arm race. If someone wants to take claim for being the unknown invaders or if we can say they're long gone for whatever reason that's fine with me.

What do you think Key? I can tweak it to remove the Alara destruction but I kinda had plot and funstuff figured out on that line. On a technote they will be EXPERIMENTING with shields but won't actually have shielding or FTL yet.
