The adults of the Todoroki family both worked in shipping, mainly between Sapporo and Vladivostok, taking the family to various countries for business trips. Their oldest daughter Akiko, already something of an internet addict, eventually became obsessed with Russian pop culture and history after one too many trips to Moscow. Taking up the pseudonym 9rota, or Pyotr online, she quickly made a name for herself on Russian chatboards and MMO servers as a hardcore russophile, eventually picking up the language through local TV and midnight Skype chats. Her entry into Sword Art Online was nothing special, bar that she took the decision to create for herself male avatar, tall, proud and sporting the most exaggerated [url=http://www.sovietposters.com/posters/sovpolpost_00106.jpg]Soviet[/url] features she could get her mitts on. In real life she is rather less striking, with a short and rather plump form that evokes a relaxed air and casual personality.

Her first day in Sword Art Online went about as well as anyone's. After several hours bumbling around alone, she eventually picked up a stray by the name of Cam-Cam. The boy's weird personality and odd habits did little to endear him to Pyotr and before long she passed him off to another lonely adventurer on the first night. She then proceeded to get rip-roaringly drunk at the local tavern, consuming far more alcohol than her real body could possibly handle. Amid the desperate drunken revelry and escapist partying, she found a sense of belonging she had never quite known in the real world... as well as opportunity. Even whilst heavily drunk, she began the first of her wily trading deals that would eventually make her a fortune; for the moment it was simply buying tons of cheap ale at the bar and selling it for one Col over asking price, but from such meagre profits a new dream was found.

[b]Personality[/b]
Akiko tends to be upbeat in a half-hearted way, preferring to cheer others and provide support rather than get stuck in herself. This philosophy applies to her social life as much as combat, as she tends to drift to the edge of the social group. She can be quite darkly cynical at times too, naturally expecting the worst from people if only because of what she might do, given the same opportunity. Pyotr tends to conceal her true feelings from others, throwing up a cheery face even when she loathes them. She is also rather vindictive at times... and her sense of morals is decidedly greyer than most.

That said, once she is comfortable in someone's presence, Akiko will comes out of herself to be both more useful and talkative. Those who earn her friendship and business partners who have earned her trust can expect to be treated like family, but others who cross a certain line may find themselves subject to... punitive measures. Regardless of how well she knows someone, they will likely be on the receiving end of her sarcasm and occasional perverse joke.
