So the character uses something called Psynergy.
So in Psynergy, the user forges an element from their mana into a concentrated form- like a gem. Said gem varies based on will of user as well as it's shape.
For example, a lightning or any kind of gem can look like anything. Since it is directly tethered to the user's psyche and mana, it can be placed in multiple forms.
Say I wear a Ring, and the gem slot is a fire gem. I can use it like a 007 gadget and have it fire off like a laser, of course the attribute is still going to be the same.
Could make a Zeus like Lightning bold gem, and I could use it like a dagger and have it fire off electricity. Said elements can be used in a smithy to create new types of medals with preexisting ones.
