Nya stiffened slightly at Paige’s hug but quickly relaxed and embraced her. If she was going to form a group of allies, (a strong and tactical move) she’d need to start right away. By all appearances, Paige was going to be her best bet. Too many of the boys had hair trigger tempers and the girls seemed more concerned by what each other was wearing than by how they’re going to take down an enemy. She knew that would eventually change but thought a headstart was imperative. “I’m ok, I guess. I’m not really nervous. I hope we get rooms by each other if we can’t at least be roommates.” Nya made a bleak attempt at a smaile before she started to walk. Paige naturally stayed with her. They walked behind the majority of the group, casually chatting about how a couple of the boys looked like boys they went to school with and how they hoped the food was as good as its reputation said it was. They finally reached a set of rooms labeled Nyaleena Vega // Seril Flint . Nya glanced at Seril’s room through an open door but couldn’t see much from where she was standing. “I guess this is me,” she sighed. “I hope Seril turns out to be a badass. Or a total door mat. I can work with either.” She put on what she thought was a charming face. It felt mostly out of place and a little weak. Oh well, she thought, I can prove myself when the real work begins. “Uh, good luck with your roommate. Uh, Lincoln.” She pointed across the hallway to a sign labeled Paige Michaelson // Lincoln Fristen. [@tabbycat]
