So hey [@Darkmatter], I said it in the chat but you apparently missed it. Here is it again. I know you're used to collaborating RT with other posters in syncpads, but that sort of arrangement is more suited for an NRP setting. For a character and in-the-moment setting like this one, it's better to just play by post in the traditional fashion. Sure, you aren't always going to be able to bang out thirty paragraph long scenes per post, but it's the overarching quality and direction of the story and plot that matters. My next post, for example, is basically just going to be Charis shooting Jackson in the chest and then running away. Two paragraphs, tops, unless somebody else enters the scene or I decide to throw in some additional event details elsewhere. I feel confident that as long as everybody doesn't get carried away with rapid-fire posting in scenes with multiple characters, there's no reason we can't play by post in the normal fashion while also making steady and regular progress.
