Titus MacArthur

Now that Titus was here...he had no idea what to do. Most of the exercises were being taken up by others and none of the other people in his group had strength-based powers. Titus' adventures in the training room generally involved lots of punching, and he wasn't sure if his new "friends" could, well, take a punch. Yet again, that Diego kid did look kinda gruff. Maybe Titus would beat him to a pulp to show off to all of the ladies. As if to call order in his court, Titus stomped the ground loudly, making the floor vibrate momentarily and causing a loud "BANG!" to echo around the room. A few newbies looked up, but the others knew that Titus wasn't worth looking up for. "Well what are we going to do then?" Titus asked "I'd spar with one of you, but I don't want to hurt anyone. Not sure if you're, y'know, tough enough." His eyes momentarily met Diego as if to challenge him. After all, he was the only one here who looked like he could take a punch or two. Cass would be an OHKO and Lupe...well, Lupe just seemed like a less-cool ripoff of her brother.

Dr.Tobias Wright, PhD

[@UrbanEvolution] [@Mr Allen J]

Bursting through the front doors of Adam's office like a man on a mission was...well...an octopus...thing on a mission. Dr.Tobias Wright may not have been the most attractive of all of the scientists at the Academy, but he was certainly the smartest and his forensics skills were unmatched. His labcoat billowed behind him like the sails of a ship and in one of his hands (he had six) was an iPad with the results of his genetic tests on it. Another hand gripped a travel mug of coffee and two more swung at his sides like he was running. A small and mousy intern followed behind him, hugging a large manilla folder filled with a jumble of papers. "Adam!" Dr.Wright shouted from not far away "I did the analysis on the monster DNA. You're gonna want to look at this. Sarah!" The intern stopped and, her eyes glowing, projected what was on Wright's iPad onto the newly-scrubbed walls. Adam swiped a few times with his tentacled hands and accessed a DNA karyotype. Twenty or so stained chromosomes appeared on the screen, all of them at their longest. Several of them were deformed, a telltale sign of extreme mutation. "This is a DNA Karyotype." Dr.Wright began to explain rather abruptly "It shows the shape and form of chromosomes so that we can identify genetic abnormalities. At a base level, all that becomes obvious is that this is a mutation, but, if you take a closer look..." SARAH zoomed into the top of a few chromosomes, which was dyed a deep black "You'll see that these chromosomes have no signs of aging. The telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of the DNA that prevent damage during replication, aren't worn down at all. What that means for us is that this isn't an organic meta-animal; this "thing" was created by someone, ie, a student and/or wannabe supervillain." Dr.Wright crossed one of his arm pairs across his chest triumphantly. It was nice to have power in a situation every once in a while.
