Oh please, he's not THAT oppressive.
I wouldn't be his friend anymore if that was the case.
I'm also quite curious why you'd ask about the show.

Well, in that case, have things gotten any better since the season 3 finale?
I'm asking because I haven't watched it since then, actually...

wot
Ok then. It's still goin', pretty good. Though, you NEED to watch season 5.
They have some fucked up shit in there, man. It's like against communism and showcasing the five stages of grief ;)
Oh, and Twilight gets her own castle. And Equestria Girls 2 is better than 1.
...don't mind me motherfuckers, I'm gonna make a post.

That sounds pretty amazing, actually. Now that I've finished watching Turnabout Storm I can probably start catching up right away.
I'm honestly laughing on how no one paid Levita absolutely no attention while she's in the offices, where several members can see her asking for help...yet they jump directly to sleep.
Seriously, I'm trying to find ways to interact with other teams. It is a Casual RP, but the pace needs to slow down.
I can't be sure if I am guilty, but Xeno's character so far has had him following after the pokemon he understands as somewhat trustworthy. I was thinking of pushing him out of that comfort zone now that he can wake up since he's been conveniently been left alone. I've just not been sure what posts are past and present right now, and there's also the problem of having no idea what the layout of the faction building is :/. @Stale Pizza if your thing is still going down I can try out an interaction :).
@Stale Pizza
On an separate, public address: Is there some kind of explanation or basic idea for the layout of the faction building? I've been blindly groping through a house of mirrors so far since I didn't want to establish something in case it existed already :P
I think the real issue is how things stagnate after a certain distance from the starting line: Everyone tends to form up into groups, and then become very oblivious to anyone who isn't in their specific groups. It's like no one bothers to skim through any one else's posts, and it leads to situations like this where people obviously have further plans and even try to open up interaction with other groups, but since one or two of the groups has decided to race to the beds in a way that borders on breaking character, the GM needs to pull a timeskip so no one is left trapped in those very same beds. Like it's already been said, I think it's a pacing problem mixed in with a lack of interaction.
I know I have a penchant for pissing people off to the point where I manage to do it even when I'm not trying to, so I'd like to make it clear that I don't think this is really a malicious or even intentional phenomenon. I think this should still be brought up, though, as it's far from conducive to a jolly ol' roleplaying experience.
this is a world where all the buildings look like the faces of their owners, so how well logic would apply to the layout is anyone's guess.

you tryin' to think you're the guy who pisses people off eh?

Lugia has a penchant for these things. I especially find that annoying.
There's not a lot of darkness which also bugs me, considering we're not 13 year-olds anymore. At least I ain't, and I'm starting to feel as if there's too much comedy in a world supposed to be realistic.
In fact, you have Lugia's posts and my posts. There's a lot of contrast when it comes to mood between them.
I never really care too much about the tone of RPs like these as long as they match up with the tone of the source material, to be honest. Granted, Explorers of Whatever got hit by Cerebus Syndrome with the force of a large train halfway through, and it'd be nice to see a little of that here, but I don't really have a problem with comedy in a world inhabited by sentient garbage bags.
