Most definitely, but unlike him they didn't want to be around him because of what he is. He wouldn't had understood it at the time, not until his caretaker told him when he was old enough. He accepted it better when he gave himself a goal to become the best he could be, hoping people will like him and maybe he'll find someone crushing on him right back.
