Following Karadar, Anna listened. She did not speak, hoping to take in all she could of her new surroundings. She would be living here from now on, so may as well get acquainted with the lay of the land early on. And, as she suspected, they came to a drinking hall. Well, a dining hall with drink in it. Close enough for government work, certainly. But then their leader charged off to accost a group of knights drinking within. The one he addressed was a rather tough-looking she-knight. Anna could only hear some of the conversation, having not followed Karadar away from the doorway. Something about the stuff in the barrels being reserved for something or other. He was angry, and the woman seemed dismissive of the whole thing. The late arrival to the new squad- the one called Spark- charged ahead, taking a sip from a mug. Anna followed behind, smirking at her disgust. "The young drink it quickly," she said with a chuckle, clapping Spark heavily on the back, "and the old drink it slowly. But I think..." And she glanced toward Karadar, as he made for the exit. "our gallant captain would like to continue. No cause to hold up the show, now, shield-sister."
