Powers: Vera has the ability to make people around her begin to hallucinate. The hallucination can be of anything she wants and the victim will believe it. The hallucination can be general or specific, meaning she can simply want you to see your greatest fear and you will see it, even if she doesn't know what it is, or she can make you believe that your entire body is on fire and that window that leads off the side of the skyscraper you're in is the only thing keeping you from a pool of water. The hallucinations also affect all senses. If she wants you to think you're on fire, not only will you see the fire burning your skin, you will also hear the crackle of the flames, feel the heat and pain of your flesh burning, smell the smoking of your body, and taste your roasted flesh.

Origins/History: Even after all these years, relations between the United States and Russia have never been even close to satisfactory. When meta-humans began to pop up on Earth, a second, secret Cold War began between the rival countries. Instead of weapons-of-mass-destruction being created though, the two nations have been creating people-of-mass-destruction. Most of these government created meta-humans have been complete failures, either becoming complete abominations or not even surviving the process. The one exception: Vera Serov, better known as Hallucinogen. Out of the two nations' Cold War II, Vera has been the only successful subject. Unfortunately for the Russian government, Vera didn't plan on being a test subject for long. As soon she had her powers, she used them to escape and become a freelance agent, letting people hire her for jobs like assassinations and heists. Recently, she was hired to be a part of the team that broke into the facility that Project: God Complex was being housed.

Personality: Vera gains enjoyment from messing around with people's emotions; whether she's making them afraid, lovestruck, or angry. She's very sadistic.
