"It's Batgirl.  No no!  I'm totally joking!  It's Melanie...umm...Melanie Thornhurst."

"Umm..last I checked, I'm pretty sure I was a chick right?"

"Hehe...yeah, why don't you have a seat over there?  For the record I'm actually 16."

[b]When is your birthday?[/b]
"October 31st.  Yeah I'm umm...kinda proud of it, I guess."

[b]What grade are you in?[/b]
"Freshman .  I got held back because...because we moved around so much and I...fell behind."

[b]What are some of your hobbies and interests?[/b]
"I'm well...my hobbies are just...kinda lame really.  All I usually do is spend time in my room watching indie movies on my laptop or messing around with my acoustic guitar.  I'm not much of a party girl and I don't really like any sports at all.  Oh and umm...did I also mention I'm kind of a cinemaphile?  I really love obscure and thought provoking films that no one's really heard of, especially if they're about quirky romances or a life changing adventure.  Sometimes, I even picture my own life as a movie.  Other than that, I also love to listen to alot of indie artists like Local Natives or Syd Matters, and the occasional Silverstein and Hawthorne Heights.  I also watch alot of anime too from time to time, only if it's good though, and I do like to draw and write poetry."


[b]How would you describe your personality?[/b]
"Well for starters....*sighs and looks away*  I've been suffering from depression since I was in middle school, mostly because we kept moving from place to place, and I barely made any friends at all.  It doesn't help either that I'm afraid of everyone around me and I don't like to meet new people since I'm scared of getting hurt and all.  I try to smile and act like the cheery, bubbly girl I'm supposed to, but when I'm home and....and I'm all alone...I.....I...." *sobs into her knees*  "I-I don't know why I'm like this at all....  I used to be so happy when I was little, but....now I just feel...like this... Like a doll with a cracked face.  You can see she's pretty on the outside, but her flaws...they're just...so hard to ignore..." *looks at the cuts on her arms*

"Please....can we stop talking about this?  I don't think I can tell you any more...  You're nice, and...I know you care, but....I just don't want to talk about it right now, okay?"

"Hmm....what about [i][b]Mellon_Collie[/b][/i]?  Sounds cool huh?  N-not like that.  It's...it's like an homage to my favorite Smashing Pumpkins album, but...yeah...you're right.  It does kinda fit me huh...." *lowers her head*


[b]What are your thoughts on the project?[/b]
"I don't really want to talk to someone I barely know, but if it's what's gonna get me through English, then I guess I have no choice.  Who knows?  Maybe...maybe it will be fun and....maybe I'll make a friend out of it."

"Umm...umm....p-please don't tell anyone, but I....I think I'm...well...you know....I think I really like...other girls." *blushes*  "I mean I've....I never really done anything with a girl before, but....but I did have a crush on quite a few...  I just...never really told them I did....  And if my mom and dad ever found out....I don't know what they would do..."
