==INS.Gorgon 1st fleet, 15th squadron inbound to unknown ship.==

The Baldor class Cruiser approach the unknown ship with two destroyers tagging along with the Cruisers. The vessel was discovered by an imperial picket station earlier that day and the INS.Gorgon with escort was sent to investigate the ship. "My lord we are entering visual range of the unknown vessel," one of the bridge crew said to captain Valus. 

"Thank you for the update Mr. Tarvin. Sound an all hands to action stations threat level one. Have the comm's officer try to established contact with vessel." the crew member left to carry out his order. Through out the ship action station was called the and the crew assumed battle positions throughout the ship.

Standing nervously in the office of the regional governor of the sector was a young imperial officer. The regional governor looked over the young officer's file raising an eyebrow at some parts of the file. "I called you into here to prove your self in the imperial military with this simple assignment," the governor said closing the folder. "General Schal file says you graduated with high marks in your class this assignment would be perfect for you. As you know in an attempt to escape Imperial retribution rebels had fled imperial space into deep space our task would be to clear out one of there  outpost in a nearby sector. Any questions?"

"What forces will I have under my command?" Schal asked.

"You will have a fleet and two legions to clear out the scum in that area. Any more questions?" 

"No my lord that is all I'll get my forces and depart at once," Schal said saluting the governor before leaving to prepare the expedition.
