If you're up for a relatively casual fantasy that has some activity going on,
you could try this roleplay. It's open to various skill levels and pretty fresh, should be very open to new characters.
Another abbreviation you should know is CS (character sheet).
Opening up in a roleplay ought to start off with the surroundings, current thoughts, etc. Try looking at a couple other intros to get the gist.
If you are in a larger group and/or want to specifically mention someone, place an @ in front of their name and put brackets around the whole thing. It will come out as
@Kori no ko if it works. As you might notice, it also gives a notification.
Before starting a roleplay, it's customary to put up a CS and get it approved by the GM (person in charge of the roleplay) first.
Unless you have questions, I'll leave you off by saying folks don't like too OP (overpowered) characters and metagaming (taking control of another player's character, although an NPC that isn't assigned to a particular character is fine).
