It felt like he was floating. In the void, drifting along the sea of darkness. Where am I? What happened? Too many thoughts too fast. Then the image became clear in his head. Growling, snarling wolf. The beat bared its fangs at him. He fought it. The searing pain returned to his leg in his dream. Blood. So much blood. Was he dead? He had to be dead. Was this heaven or some weird place in between? Kaden then saw white light. Heaven? This was it. Dead and going into the after life or being reborn into a new life. Now he felt as though he was standing. Pitch black corridor with the light. He walked to it. Then… Kaden opened his eyes. The sun was out. He felt the ground rustle underneath him. Awake. At that, Kaden jumped up from the ground. Startled. Eyes darting back and forth looking for that huge wolf. His senses were heightened. It felt like things changed. But he wasn't sure what it was. Hearing, smell, sight… And a slight bit of agitation. Kaden shook his head and focused. Walking around. Wait, walking? He should be limping or having a hard time moving. It's possible he should have bled out and died. He looked at his leg. The wound was gone and healed. Just torn up jeans. He took off and sprinted back to the campsite and saw everyone gathering there. Getting there stuff together. And a new girl was with them. Kaden couldn't quite put a name to her face but he felt like he had seen her around before. "What the hell happened last night?" He could see they had torn clothes and the same confusion. "How do none of us have any scars and since when do wolves attack people without a pack?" None of it made sense.
