“What do you mean, ‘we don’t have any coffee?’” “I mean that we don’t have any coffee to make at the moment. Perhaps if there were more of a demand for coffee, we would have it in more often. If you need something to get through the day, we stock plenty of Chesto Berries on our breakfast menu.” “Chesto Berries? You can’t listen to jazz while you eat a Chesto Berry…” “I-I’m not aware of any jazz bands in town at the moment, at least not any that play at this hour…” “... That’s a good point, actually… Thank you!” I take the berry and nibble it absentmindedly as I exit the cafeteria and walk through the guild. I hadn’t really slept well, mostly on account of the beds. I should have brought over a pillow or something, now that I think about it. I bet if we had better beds, the efficiency of the guild would increase by at least ten percent… Does Levita have this problem, being all balloon-y and such? Does she even sleep? She either got up really early or never went to sleep at all, or otherwise I wouldn’t be out looking for her. Wait, if she was up all night, she might need a Chesto Berry, too… One food trip later, I return to my previous location with another Chesto Berry. I guess these things really do get your day started. What’s even in these things, anyways? In my wandering, I eventually manage to find Levita, who seems to have found herself embroiled in what could be an epic conflict in the making! At least, I think that’s what it could be… “Hi Levita,” I say in an admittedly strange blend of nonchalant enthusiasm. “How are you today? I didn't see you anywhere after I woke up; did you sleep at all last night? Just in case, I got you one of these Chesto Berries. Also, what’s up with the Macguffin? What’s it do?” I offer her the berry telekinetically, taking the opportunity to inspect the necklace in question around the Nidoran’s neck. Apparently, it’s some sort of “light orb”, so I guess it glows in the dark? Or maybe it’s just not very heavy? Neither of those seem very valuable, actually. I notice that the elusive and mysterious Nincada, Chip... is no longer elusive and mysterious! I smile, delighted that I've found the answer to one of the world's many conundrums.
